Sliding into the Senate...

It has been an exciting while since I last wrote on friday... Well friday night was fun, went out with people from the house and met some GW students. Then saturday found my way up to Jersey. Some slight detours in how I got there but it all worked out. Wasn't the best situation but it was amazing to see all the family. It had been so long. It really is great up there. The Shore isn't the beach but it is still great, but all the family tops it off. From the cousins to the aunts and uncles to the grandparents... oh and of course my dad on father's day. That was mostly what it was. Just spending time with people, although I am hoping to make it up later in the summer to see more of them. Then on monday took a long trip back. It was worth it but it would have been nice to have a weekend. Yesterday was a basic day, but today a little after 5 once we had finished things up we headed over to the senate. We saw five different presidental candidates, Obama, Kennedy, Liberman, Kerry and ohhh Hilary who literally slid her way into the senate by practically falling and yelping...relatively amusing (since she wasn't hurt) and it wasn't hard to notice with the yell and yellow jacket. There was also Boxer and Feinstein as well as many more. It is amazing being able to run after work and see all these people and what all they are doing. That is basically the excitement. It was a great weekend which should lead to another trip up there as well as a trip to New York...

Hey Megan!

Wow...that sounds like a great way to end the day...yeah, just hanging around at the Senate....

Was so glad to have you there this past weekend...and yes, it made fathers day special, was afraid I wouldn't see you for either that or my birthday.

The graduation was hot but good, but they didn't quite keep up to the standards set the year you graduated...think they ran over and it was an hour and seven minutes or so....still much better then any other school around...

Dani has been running around getting ready to leave early Saturday...she's got a great big smile on her face as she should... oh, she got to drive rosebud last night....very happy girl.

Jimmy has a BB tournament Friday and Saturday, we'll let you know how he does.

Love you...miss you.

Dad
